First, thank you for taking time to get to know a little more about me as a candidate for Sciota Township Clerk.
I am a dedicated and community-focused candidate running for the Clerk role. Born and raised in Sciota Township and alumni of Laingsburg High School, class of 2011, is where my sense of community came from. I pursued higher education at Baker College, earning a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting.
Along with my husband of eight years, Riley Arnold, we own and operate Whispering Pines Ranch (the name of the farm came from my grandparents, Dave and Pat White's farm). Together, we are also raising two daughters, instilling in them the same family values, kindness and commitment to community that continue to guide me each day.
Professionally, I work in a finance role. This role and previous professional and personal opportunities have honed my skills in meticulous record-keeping and financial management, key competencies I aim to bring to the position of Sciota Township Clerk.
Being elected, I would bring a few important focuses to the Clerk role:
- Enhanced Record Keeping: Implementing more efficient and accurate systems.
- Timely Delivery of Ballots: Ensuring that all ballots are delivered promptly.
- Improved Voter Registration File: Keeping voter records up-to-date and accurate.
- Conducting Fair Elections: Managing elections with transparency and integrity.
- Increased Township Transparency: Providing residents with up-to-date information and greater insight into township operations.
- Timely Communication: Bringing common sense and timeliness to community member questions and requests.
I am committed to serving Sciota Township with dedication and transparency. Please be sure to vote August 6th, no matter who you vote for, please exercise your right to vote.
